Providing dignity, and brighter days
We are Brighter Tents! We provide free medical supplies, diabetic test kits, clothing, shoes and boots, and of course tents to our unhoused neighbors. Call or email us any time for your next request or how to arrange donations at gifts@brightertent.org.
How we help our community
Through direct online coordination and volunteer networks, we work every day to bring essential shelter, warmth, and relief to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Free tents
We source and distribute sturdy, weather-resistant tents directly to individuals facing unsheltered homelessness.
Weather protection
Essential rain flies, insulated tarps, and sleeping pads ensure recipients stay dry and protected through harsh climates.
Direct outreach
We partner with grassroots groups and on-the-ground advocates to identify locations in urgent need of shelter kits.
Community support
Every tent given away is funded through compassionate supporters and online donors committed to helping others.
Driven by kindness and direct action
Brighter Tents began with a clear purpose: nobody should face the elements without basic protection. As an online nonprofit initiative, our focus is delivering immediate, practical relief. By keeping overhead minimal, we convert community support straight into durable tents and vital gear for people experiencing homelessness.
A basic human right to safety and shelter
A tent offers more than just a roof against rain and cold; it gives privacy, security, and a peaceful night of rest. We believe immediate relief creates room for long-term stability.
"Having a sturdy tent during the winter storms made all the difference. The team treated everyone with genuine compassion and dignity."
